When Philippine Pastor Rudy Alamer heard the news about a large group of evacuees traveling toward him he saw an opportunity to minister the gospel. In two evacuation centers Pastor Rudy was able to preach to more than 5,000 people. Many of these people are religious but do not know that they can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Pastor Rudy and his daughter churches reach all six provinces of the Bicol Region of southern Philippines.  They minister in 13 different centers with over 400 children and young people being taught the Word of God. A radio ministry touches the lives of people across the region. New Christian schools are open which teach formal education and the Bible. A Bible training school is now open, training young men in fields of ministry.

Even during times of chaos, volcanoes, typhoons, and guerrillas, God is still in charge and His Word is being planted in the hearts of men, women, and children in the Bicol region of the Philippines. God is using his servant Pastor Rudy Alamer and his people to spread the good news of the Gospel.
